My mother's side of the family has great teeth, but my father has dental problems. When I was a child, I got cavity after cavity, while my siblings came home from dental check-ups with zero problems. I thought I had inherited my bad teeth through my dad's bad genetics. Then learned through stories from my parents that my dad never cared for his teeth well, and I had cavities as a child because I was stubborn and refused to brush. This made me realize that bad teeth weren't in my genes after all! This was great news, it gave me hope that I was not doomed to a life of bad teeth if I care for them properly. I created this blog to help others who struggle with frequent cavities or other dental problems. You can improve your teeth with proper healthy habits!
